MEET THE OWNER

Austin Bou
RD, CDCES, CPT

Hey there, my name is Austin! My interest in health began with my own journey. As a teenager, I struggled with obesity (weighing 200 pounds at my heaviest at age 14) and eventually lost 40 pounds through consistent changes in my eating habits and physical activity. That experience helped me build confidence in my body and sparked a lifelong commitment to health.

What truly motivated me was the loss of my father, who passed away at age 38 from heart disease and diabetes. I didn’t want to follow the same path. When I entered college, I knew I wanted to pursue a career that combined personal passion with purpose. Becoming a dietitian allowed me to do just that while specializing in cardiometabolic health to honor my father’s legacy.

I founded West Coast Dietitian to help others experience the same transformation: to feel healthier, more confident, and more in control of their lives.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your health journey, I’m here to help you get started with clarity, support, and a plan that fits your life.
